Therapy Offerings
I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Each type of therapy has its own focus and structure.
Both in-person and tele-health sessions are available, based on your preference.
Individual Therapy
Together we’ll uncover not only the emotional obstacles that may be holding you back, but—just as importantly—your emotional strengths (yes, you have them!) Most of us carry wounds from the past that we may or may not even be aware of; bringing those to light and understanding the connection to your present life will bring you a greater sense of control over your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
A key part of healing is learning how to quiet the inner critic and replace it with more patience, understanding, and compassion toward yourself. I’ll help you turn down the volume on worry, self-doubt, and negative thinking patterns, and turn up the volume on a sense of hope and possibility.
Your past does not have to dictate your future! Change is possible, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With support and the right tools, you can begin to shift how you think, how you feel, and how you show up in your life. I'm here to guide you through that process, every step of the way.
Couples Therapy
Let’s talk about “communication problems.” Does that mean frequent arguments? Or maybe long, stony silences? Perhaps you and your partner come from different backgrounds that shaped very different ways of expressing yourselves? Whatever the pattern, most couples who come to therapy share similar core feelings: misunderstood, unappreciated, overlooked—and often, a little lonely in the relationship.
These feelings are deeply human, but they can be hard to talk about without slipping into blame or criticism. That’s where I come in.
I’ll guide you in creating a space where both of you can speak honestly and listen openly—where you can express needs without conflict, and hear each other without defensiveness. Together, we’ll work to reduce tension and increase connection, mutual respect, and genuine care for one another.
Real change is possible, and I’m here to help you find your way back to one another.
Family Therapy
When one family member struggles, the whole family feels the impact. Challenges can arise from various stressors, including school-related issues, financial stress, illness, loss, addiction, mental health concerns, or other life difficulties. External pressures such as cultural expectations or multi-generational dynamics can further contribute to the strain.
As with couples, it’s crucial to identify patterns—those repetitive arguments, disagreements, or stressful situations that usually end the same way, with no resolution or change. In family therapy, I will help every member safely express themselves to the best of their ability, enabling us to pinpoint where changes need to happen.
Each family member will have a voice in expressing the changes and growth they would like to see, as well as the shifts needed to realize those changes. Our shared goal is to repair relationships, build stability, and foster increased trust and connection. I will give you the tools your family needs to begin the repairs- all you need is willingness!
Group Therapy
Healing doesn’t have to happen alone. Group therapy offers a welcoming opportunity for individuals who share similar challenges to come together, share experiences, gain new perspectives, and learn from one another.
Guided by me, group sessions foster connection, reduce feelings of isolation, and provide valuable tools for personal growth. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grieving a loss, or working on personal development, group therapy can be a powerful way to feel seen, understood, and supported. Being together with others who face similar challenges can offer mutual support and insight brings a sense of hope and belonging. You are not alone in this journey.
Your next step toward support and healing starts here. Schedule your appointment or consultation today. New and returning clients are welcome!
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Therapy can be helpful whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply want a space for self-exploration and growth. You don’t need to have a crisis to benefit — curiosity about yourself or a desire for change is a good enough reason to begin.
-
The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you have. It's normal to feel a little nervous — the first session is about building comfort, not rushing into deep topics.
-
Most people start with weekly sessions to build momentum, but the schedule can be flexible based on your needs and availability. We’ll discuss what feels sustainable for you.
-
That’s completely okay — it’s more common than you might think. Part of therapy is clarifying what matters to you. We can start with whatever is on your mind and go from there.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific issue, while others continue longer for ongoing personal growth. You’re not locked into anything — it’s always your choice.
-
The relationship is important. If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to bring it up — good therapists welcome open conversations about fit. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to settle in, and sometimes it's better to explore other options. Your comfort matters most.
"Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong."
